Maybe years ago, but not anymore. Most of the successful people we know would more readily call it “work-life integration.” Technology has enabled us to work anywhere, and forward-thinking employers have embraced more flexible policies to be in tune with the needs of their people. It is more important than ever to understand that healthy personal relationships and keeping family commitments are crucial to the team-member satisfaction. And, satisfied team members create satisfied clients. For these and other reasons, the leaders of LAM have always embraced a steadfast belief in the primacy of family, which applies at home and at work.
What this means is that when you do business with LAM, you don’t just become a client, you become a member of our family. There are far too many examples to include here, but we can tell real-life stories of how our team members have stepped in to help each other (and clients) deal with family or medical emergencies, after-hours crises, ailing parents, sick kids, etc. Become a client and you will see what this LAM family is all about. Business is personal. We love each other like family…maybe even argue like family….and then hug and make up….like family.
Numerous members of the LAM team have either served in the armed forces or have close friends and relatives who have served our country. We are honored to openly and loudly call attention and give thanks to those brave and selfless men and women who protect our freedom, and we regularly recognize and honor their service & sacrifice.
As our business has grown, so has our ability to be faithful stewards of the blessings that have come our way. Because of an underlying core belief that life on this planet is just a dress-rehearsal for even brighter things beyond, we share those blessings with deserving groups and individuals who have come into our lives. This is not a formal pledge to send a marketing message, but a deep and lasting commitment to bless others from the abundance with which we have been blessed.
